CHIRLA provides legal assistance, community education, and policy advocacy to help individuals and families navigate complex immigration challenges while promoting equitable and humane public policy.

Direct assistance of $200 has been provided to a community member who sustained major injuries in a recent car accident. Medical expenses are expected to exceed the available insurance coverage from the at-fault driver, and the individual is currently unable to work while recovering. This support is intended to help offset immediate living and recovery-related expenses during this difficult period.
